Following up on that LCD television adventure
I’m sort of doing a “follow-up” here on the post I did the other day about our son’s LCD television purchase and the joy we had of sharing it with him.
If you are at all interested in tv deals for the holidays, you really should get out there and check around. As Christmas gets closer, it’s amazing the deals that are coming along on 42-inch to 52-inch LCD and plasma television sets.
Having said that, I wanted to let you know that part of the really fun experience we had with our son’s big-screen LCD was the Playstation 3 he got as part of a package deal with the television. Not because of the video games (I never play ‘em) — but because the Playstation 3 includes Blu-Ray high-definition DVD capability.
Wow. I’ve not seen movies in theaters as crisp and clear as the Blu-Ray DVD we watched on his new television.
If you have an interest in television, movie DVDs — even video games! — this might be the year you want to get in on some great deals on all the technology.
