Here’s a wish for you for great times and good times in 2009. I would be remiss to end 2008, a tough year for just about everyone I know, without laying down a heart-felt prayer/blessing for all who hang out here with me.
I’ve found and chosen to share with you what claims to be “An Old Irish Blessing.” I don’t know how old it really is, as sometimes people make things up on the Internet (yes, shocking but true), and sometimes they simply get things wrong. Given all that, it’s a fitting note to end 2008, and my prayer for you and your family, as well as me and my family, is this:
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
