Tomorrow will be a brighter day, I think
Yesterday and today, the weather — or perhaps “non-weather” — has dominated life in our little corner of the world. We’ve been dealing with cold days alternating with snowy days pretty much as a steady pattern this winter, or for the last three or four weeks.
But yesterday and today have been just sort of “in between” weather days. It’s been cloudy almost all of both days, the temperatures have been below freezing, but not terribly below freezing. And there have been only a few spatters of light snow yesterday and none today.
It’s the sort of weather that leaves you feeling like you’re living in a permanently grayish world. It’s a case of weather elements combining to act as natural sleep aids for all of us who struggle to work on our own. I have no boss to crack the whip, just me and our faithful cat for the next few hours. (And the cat’s already asleep, which she does about 20 hours a day.)
But life is set to take a brighter turn for us. The sun will come out tomorrow (sounds like a song lyric) and the temps will climb above freezing. I hope things are bright, or are set to brighten, where YOU live, too!
