What’s in a name? What do you think ‘Take Time for Living’ means?

If you come back in a day or two, I’m going to have a real “About” page explaining this fully, but meanwhile …

There’s a saying that’s been attributed to John Lennon of Beatles fame that goes something like this: “Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.” From what I’ve been able to find out searching on the Internet, JL probably said this — but he probably wasn’t the first notable person to say it.

At any rate, that always ring true to me: I look at my life and realize that, the older I get, the more I discover the things I PLANNED for my life were overtaken by the things which have HAPPENED in my life, planned or not — mostly not.

So I want to make this blog a combination of good news and bad news — happy things and unhappy things — I want it to be a place where we take the time to LIVE, with living meaning pretty much all that comes along during our daily and not-so-daily journey.

Hang around. Share your own thoughts through the comments form. Let’s have some fun, eh?
